Fawley rfc got the 2nd win of the season under their belts with

Another away game for the 1st team and having got there in plenty of time (dicky!!), preparations were soon beginning for the match. Unfortunately, with an hour and 40 minutes to spare and only 1 ball between the team (again top organisation dicky lol!), the warm up could have been better.

That didn’t stop everyone putting the tackles in from the start however and recent training sessions paid off, with a phenomenal defence and the majority of tries coming from counter attack ball. Tries came from Craig, Ryan Phelps, Ginge, Dirk, Tyrone and Ant, with Liam kicking two conversions. With good ball from the lineout and scrum the scoreline could have been a lot more favourable, however the Alresford pack were rather large and the 1st team have got some good things to work on in training. Overall it was a great performance from everyone and the whole team put in a lot of effort especially in defence.

If we can carry on performing at this level for the rest of the season then there is no doubt that we will be back in Hampshire 2 next year.

Keep up the good work,

Captain chops.
